BitFenix Ghost for Reviews!

EDIT: I re-did my ummm what would you call it? Submission for review? Because I think I just said the same thing in as many different ways as possible :p So heres my formal one.

Why would you want to be given the chance to interview a Ghost? Your case too noisy?

Ok right off the bat the main reason is because my current case is too loud. Theres no denying it I need to replace it! :D
However I have been looking at recent silent cases including the R4 but a lot of them are the best part of £100 and dont actually look that decent :/ And with the case being two inches from my face silence and styling which my current case has neither of is crucial! With this being your first silent case I would be interested in comparing how succesful it is compared to say a £50 case like my current Zalman Z9.

Secondly after looking at a few reviews of the Ghost I am very impressed with some feautures you don't often see. The double hinged front for starters I can see being very useful but possibly a bit of an irritant if its not sturdy? Would have to get my hands on it first hand to check out though.
Then you have the cooling for the HDD bays and hotswap on top. Now personally this is the first case I have seen come to think with the hotswap on top of the case rather than using the 3.5" drives. Now I only have 1 HDD and soon to be 1 SSD so its unlikely I would be using it however I see its sound deadened which could mean putting the main HDD in there just to further reduce noise output. Now back with the HDD cooling I like how there are holes around the 3.5" bays to let air in if there are HDD's in front. Combined with the space for a 120/140mm fan I guess you can fit a small radiator in there?

Filtering wise I see the Ghost has at least one magnetic filter on the bottom for PSU and an extra fan. I already liek magnetic stuff and a magnetic filter makes my heart glow :D My current case has only 2 filters for 2 fans and not the PSU. I already find them very useful so would love a well filtered case! I take it clip on filters are easily attachable onto the Ghost? I have 2 120mm's which I would like to re-use.

I would also like to review the Ghost to show people what they are missing out on if that makes sense. For example I currently have a Zalman Z9 and would love to show the "audience" what sound deadenign does and how effective it is, what the changes in cooling are like compared to an open case, even how quality the HDD trays are and the nicely done cables on the back! :p

Yet this would be my first time doing a review so unlike some people out there I can't garuntee a 1 hour long HD video or a glorified testing of all the fans, static air pressure readings etc inside the case. All I can garuntee is I would part myself out 100% to make sure the case gets the review it deserves. This doesn't mean a million and one pics and hours of "fanboyism" ;) but a fair review of all the pro's and cons, what you can do with the case and my own personal opinions etc.

I would love to review the case but if I am not chosen would also love to hear everyone else's reviews :)

Thanks for the competition guys will be interested in seeing the reviews here! :)
Anyhow thank you for hosting this competition!

So, question for you: Why would you want to be given the chance to interview a Ghost?

My current case (Zalman Z9) is having s bit of a breakdown. Front audio jack is bust, fan controller isn't working. On top of that I've now decided I hate the look of it.

I would guarantee to review it to the best of my ability, including comparisons to my current case (and why the Ghost is vastly superior)

Plus it'd mean I don't have to buy a BitFenix Shinobi!

I would love the chance to review the Ghost because my current case is not designed for silence so this would let me see the difference in noise level.

Bitfenix have a good rep for well built kit and the two spectre pro's I have are really good fans. I also approve of how they promote their gear with giveaways for review, it shows they have confidence that what they are selling is of high quality.

Reviewing Ghost and comparing to my Define R2 would be interesting. The new generation of silent case versus the old R2.

I've always wanted the balance of cooling ability and silence.

I bought the original Antec Sonata all those years ago, and that certainly did not live up to expectation, even after extensive modding on my part.

I would be directly comparing it to my previous P180, and current Raven RV02, the RV02 having exceptional cooling, but not being as quiet as I would like.

Why would I like to review the Ghost?

Because I'd like to see if it can tame the annoying noise from my venerable socket 775 rig and then run my new ultra silent build I'm putting together.

Plus I'm a sucker for clean aesthetics and I need to see this case in the flesh to see if the pictures do it justice.

"Why would you want to be given the chance to interview a Ghost? Your case too noisy?"

Well where do I start firstly I hate my current job and I've always wanted to start a hardware review YouTube channel I'd review things from cable sleeving to water cooling and what better way to start it the channel than to review the BitFenix Ghost. Sounds like just the kick up the bum I need, lol, While I understand I'll never earn a living off I review channel it will make my job a lot more bearable as I get to play with things when I'm not working ;).

Secondly I'm planning a new build to coincide with the release of windows 8 and we'll I'm going to need a new case aren't I. :)

Sssshhh, did you hear something?
It's just the click of your mouse Shadow, now get back to work...

Will a ghost make a quiet system silent?
Moved back to air cooling and would love to review this for you

Would love to check out the ghost with my kit, I can run as a server , HTPC and desktop environment to see what the effects and benefits of each are. (In terms of build, noise, and very importantly for the office and lounge..looks)

Have extensive experience with wide variety of kit and am VERY fussy with getting it right, will not be covering watercooling though. Main Rig is in a Fractal R3 so would be a good comparison

And as a side benefit, will not be a free loading scumbag who takes kit and doesn't provide the review!

I would love to review a ghost because ive got a shinobi at the minute and love the look of it. The general look of all bitfenix cases are amazing! I would love the bigger case and a chance to review some great bitfenix kit!
