If you won lottery would you buy car outright or finance?

I was thinking today what i would do about cars if i won the lottery.

My dream car, an Audi R8 Spyder prob would be my first purchase

Then started thinking would i just buy it outright or finance it. Imagen i would prob only keep the car for 1-2 years max as would try something else.

Would be interesting to hear what other ppl would do in this situation.

If it was a euro millions rollover, I doubt I'd need it somehow.

There is a bloke i work with and he loves Juke's, there is somthing really wrong with him as there is a white 1 near where we work and he never shuts up about now nice it looks!!!

If it was a pretty healthy sum then i'd buy outright I guess - seems unlikely you'd get a guaranteed interest/investment return of more than the equivalent finance rate.

If it was millions then yes outright, unless they offered 0% finance. Even then i probably wouldnt even care/think about it.

I like to own a car outright. If I cannot afford a nice car then I simply do not buy it.

If you're talking lotsa cash though (say 100k+) on the car then its not alwaus that simple - as above if you could somehow get a 0% deal on say 100k you'd need to weigg up how much that money could make you in the time you had the car.

I'd buy a mint example of something old and epic, M3 Evo, lancia delta integrale etc. and then spend a few tens of thousands making it exactly how I want it, and spend the rest on track days/racing subs

i would call nissan, tell them to have my GTR ready for lunchtime.

use it to drive to lamborghini and buy my aventador.

then drive it back to my bat cave, where i would prowl pistonheads for other exciting things to buy.

No but ive dreamt about punching a few Burton's suit wearing, arrogant car salesmen in their stupid faces.

I'd finance. Keep as much money in the bank and pay the monthly payments off with the interest earned
