Best pay as you go tariffs

Hi Guys,

Don't get these requests often so hopefully someone can help.

I need 2 x PAYG sims to try to cut down on monthly costs. Tbh I think £10 will last me 2 months a I'm not a heavy user due to not working at the moment so no need to ring the missus much.

I would like if possible the following:

Free texts (for the missus)
A bit of internet would be good (for me)

Phones should be able to accept any sim (I'll have to unlock mine). Also can I transfer my number to a PAYG sim?

Was just looking at GiffGaff and they are cheap the cheapest. I'll order 2 sims I think. The best bit is the free GG to GG minutes that you can get which would be good for us and I think I'll try to convert the family too ;)
 
Yea my dad is on it. Strong signal round here, it uses O2 and it is very cheap.

Depending on how much the new Win8 Lumias cost, I may go on it.

I like o2, its the best signal coverage I have had (in Derby) I'll just have to check it in my home.
