Built this team; only cost me 18.5k coins:

Won 8-1 in my first game. Zarate is still as immense as last year. Gomez isn't as good as last year tho, he's a LF but tends to stay in CM so Nainggolan ends up overlapping him. Luckily Nainggolan is pretty pacey too.

I've noticed this as well, have Mingolet in goal myself and he's been incredible in some matches.

Just purchased Colocinni and Darren Fletcher and they seem to have helped a lot too. Colocinni in particular was a rock at the back, really helpful with the headers. Only played the one game with them both mind but seemed to work.
 
got thrashed, really need to improve my team. good game.

edit, yeah..just need some players that fit my formation.
 
Not sure whether to keep my Germans or to sell up and make a beastly Serie A team. Though from what I can gather that league is so cheap I might as well just buy a few packs and make a second squad.
 
Finally my copy arrived today. Started trading, have no team yet. 18k in the bank.

However, observations from Seasons- Aaron Lennon is very good, almost unplayable, same for Bale. Pato is very good. Really like little touches in the game, there seem to be no pauses for throw ins now- conveniently resulted in me being able to long throw into the box and score into an empty net after the GK himself had run way outside the box and conceded the throw in in the first place.

Someone already mentioned earlier on though, Stewy I think, how it's still far too easy to walk through the middle of a defence.

E: are/were 4411 cards valuable?

I bought a Serie A fitness team. I don't think you can really make a beastly team from that league anymore until the IF's come out :( The quality players have left or been nerfed.

Mine is:

Pato - Muriel
El Sharrawy
Zuniga - Vidal - Zanetti - Cuadrado
Ogbonna - Campagnaro - Gamberini
Marchetti

It's ok, Pato cost nearly the amount of the whole team :p

Not a patch on the Bundes team. I still have 200k left :o

Looks pretty good, I just fancy a 4-3-3 with bags of pace, I've looked at BBVA but that's super expensive. I had 400K to build a team with before I decided on Germany and I was totting up the prices of a 4-3-3 Spanish side, ran out of coins after about 6 players. :(

Think I'll stick with my Germans for now, hit a long shot with Schweinsteiger and it's like:
