Is anyone else staying up for the US presidential debate?

As above...

I think that it's Obama's to lose. Almost everyone expects Obama to floor Mitt (including me), meaning that he has to deliver or else he will be considered a loser... Whereas Mitt has such low expectations placed upon him, that he has to perform to a lower standard to be considered a winner.

For example, when Sarah Palin managed to get through her debate with Joe Biden without making a huge gaffe, it was trumpeted as a major victory.

I am supporting Obama for the presidency this year, and I hope that he wows like he did both during the Democratic primaries in 2008, and the presidential debates of the same year.

What is everyone feeling? :)

Will it be shown live on BBC News?

I'm pretty sure Obama will indeed rule the debate but something scary tells me Romney will still get a worrying share of the votes.

Just tuned in, moderator doesn't seem to have control. Obama is bumbling and looks like he needs to go to bed. Romney is just being overly agressive and not saying anything of interest or probably that accurate.

Nothing to see here.

Romney just says things, nothing specific, he just says ideas, empty weightless stuff.

Interesting call - I think we're going to see Romney losing this on the after debate analysis. He and the Republicans have been dragged over hot coals for lying constantly. I think the same analysis will be applied to this debate. It's not really Obamas to be lost - it's Romneys to attempt to regain some credibility. You're right though - the moderator is poop.

Drop the rates wub wub. Broaden the base wub wub. I reckon there will be an autotune out within 24hrs.

Romney won this debate I think. I expected it though considering it was an economic debate with his history in business.

Out of the two I found Romney more interesting. I would prefer to sit down and talk economics with him. I will hold further judgement until the social policy debate happens though ¬.¬

"CNN breaks down the speaking time for the two candidates during the debate: Obama spoke for 45 minutes and 50 seconds, Romney for 38 minutes and 32 seconds."

So the moderator doesn't seem so bad now.

I'm shocked that people are talking up Romney's performance, I thought he was awful. Obama looked a bit uncomfortable at first, but got cooler and cooler as they proceeded through the debate. Romney looked worse and worse.

I am sickened that people thought Mitt won this, unbelievable.
