Oscar is good, but really lightweight so don't expect him to defend very well at CM. He plays CAM in my 352 and is decent enough. I tried David Silva who wasn't that much better that I noticed the difference so I sold Silva.
 
Umm does everyone have the World XI team in the standard mode? Ive got the classic but not the other but I swear Ive seen matches with them in online.

It doesnt appear to be a locked item as I can see the MLS All Stars team with the lcoked symbol...

Yeah, and kinda regret it from the few games Ive had - definitely wont be sitting permanently in my PS3 like the other FIFAs have. Its hard not to think they just didnt bother with a beta and just sold it like it is instead...

I think you've got to give it time. I was pulling my hair out at the start, I was seething after every game, I just wanted to curl up and cry.

I am however a lot better now, I have adjusted to the changes and am a lot better for it. I win the majority of games although after getting to Div 1 I've been mainly playing tournaments due to changing teams so often.
 
Yeah I will, not had a chance to even try FUT (dont even have a team yet) so hopefully thats better. Definitely seems theyve improved attacking but not defending so it feels like a basketball match at times.

Ill probably grow to enjoy it, but first time I think the changes havent improved the game, first touch is a good idea but second guessing when it will pop up to bite you is a bit annoying...

Same but not because it's a crap game, I just don't feel the love this year :rolleyes:
 
You know, I've just stopped bothering with the first touch controls now, I just play like I did before and 99 times out of 100 it's fine for me. The only time my players take a bad touch is if I've passed the ball with power behind it, then I just flick the right analogue stick, works most times but I can't really see what it adds to the game, apart from being annoying to the people who play pass and move it does absolutely nothing else.

It certainly doesn't stop pace teams being as effective if that's what EA were trying to do because most pace teams I've played against just put a through ball a few yards behind your defender and their attacker simply outruns you before even touching the ball, it's just pants. If they improved defending at the same time then it would probably have helped but it doesn't help the honest players it just hinders them while the sweaty pace abusing ***** can carry on business as usual.

Looking for a very cheap Brazil GK, pref no more than 2-3k. I'm currently using Guilherme and while he's quite good with 85 diving, I wouldn't mind improving if possible. Anyone used Fabio, Helton, Artur Moraes or Jefferson?

Just because hes very cheap in comparison to Nasri or Silva. He plays a lot better than his stats suggest. Also a nimble player just like those.

Saying that, I haven't tried either in 13. :p

I use Moraes, tall and good overall. Jefferson has been fine against me too.

No keepers have stood out to me this year at all just because everyone power shots and none of them stop them because they travel at the speed of light...
 
Yup use Marin as my CAM and switch between him and Taraabt.

He is very good, get a lot of goals with finesse shots form outside the area and also he has a cracking shot on him.
 
I've never bothered in the past with any team other than my main gold squad, which became quite boring last year so this time I decided to put together a cheapo silver team from the Championship:

Having so much more fun with this team than with my gold one - Findley up front is stupidly fast and I even use Vukcevic in RM in my gold squad! :p

Loving things.....so far! ;)

*edit* there are quite a few players with a low overall but cracking stats! - anyone else found this?
