The Official Fifa 13 11v11 Club

yea that is something that needs to be addressed. u never know though. this time next week the size of the club will be sufficiant. we cant just have 5 people in the club though. thats tiny and will rely on all 4-5 members being on at the same time.

15 is the magic number IMO as this gives people opprtunity to get games at varied times of the day and week

Yea i should probably say i didn't mean 5 is the best number for a squad, just the best number of online players at the time :p

I think a lot of the players we have would improve 10 fold if they came on mumble where we could communicate with them, it's good to hear not only what you're doing wrong but also what you're doing right during a match. We give each other constructive criticism opposed to bitching at each other which is nice :) We don't bite!

Are we falling into the trap and taking the game too serious for a casual club ?

Not even a week has passed and the squabbling starts. :D

Splitting the team ?

Playing with 5 or 6 only ?

Give it time.

I think we need to keep the casual aspect and casual temperament for the club to remain active and for people to get some satisfaction from playing.

If we deviate from this path, we all know what will happen. :)

I think splitting is a good idea cuz not everyone cares about playing well or wining but then there are some that do.
Casual and serious might be a good idea

Not getting serious, just ironing out the creases so to speak, I'm not that bothered when we lose or if we go on a poor streak still :)

To be honest though, it's an online team playing game, i can't see why people wouldn't want to be on mumble! There's now 9 of us who are regularly on it (me, woody, gober, t4rantula, jonny, chowdown, fc_zenit, bitter_rivals, tallunis - sorry if i missed anyone!) and it's nice having everyone there chatting, planning, communicating during games etc. And for those who don't want to have voice activation like myself you can still stick it on push to talk, just use spacebar or something so it's easy to press with your little finger while playing :p

Seems unfair on those of us putting the effort in to socialise and communicate in the game when those who won't come on aren't putting that TINY bit of extra (and very effective) effort in because it's those people (NOT ALL BY ANY MEANS!! but i also won't single anyone out) who have sprouted this talk of splitting in to two teams, like i say, it's a team based online game, we should all be on mumble like we would be for practically any other team based game, seems daft not to be.

EDIT: also like we've said before, only need to be on to at least listen, don't even need to talk if you don't want, just so people can relay instructions or request a change of positioning etc.

I will see how it goes before making any harsh moves in splitting the club. i think we have a good amount of players now but we MUST NOT RECRUIT ANYMORE!!

This is a warning to all assisted managers. PLEASE DO NOT ADD ANYMORE TO THE CLUB BESIDES XAVI(****ing hurry up and join ffs!!).

with that out of the way back to being in mumble. Pass8move i need u on mumble. You told me your reasons last nigth but i feel u should still come to mumble. Just turn down the volume or something!

Its VITAL that EVERYONE is on mumble. even if your just listening.

Also, its nice to have casual chats there but can we do that away from a match please? i notice that when pickle did not play, pickle and us where chatting casually during a match and it distracted us. i dont mind us chatting, but we should do it when we are in the lobby, at half time etc. in game it can become a distraction. not blaming u pickle, just telling everyone about it :)

Last nights session was a bit of a hit and miss. some good play but positioning of us needs to be a bit better. im not imune to this as i tend to drift all over the place as well so i am also at fault. But last game with Doomer we was more organised and disiplined.

Cup game starts tonight at 12am?

Here is what i suggest we do for cup games. Before we play a cup game we must plat at least one game before that, practising and warming up. after that, we can play a cup match but the rule is that u have to play same position u played in the warm up game.

This gives us the ability to be prepared at our best for a cup game

Loopy, u can join us next week if there is space. please be patient as the current crop of players need to gel a bit more. will create a reserve list

I've only added Pass8 to the squad, I do listen to the manager's instructions.

SUCKY SUCKY :D

I've never liked using voice comms even if it's to listen in, as I listen to the radio when on the pc.

But if you insist on people using it, fair enough.

People on Mumble get priority positioning of their choice in the team, that has been established now.

Think that is a fair rule, but we are rotating frequently anyway. If anyone is wanting to try a different position or anything, just speak up :)

I didn't know priority was given to mumble users didn't see it here in the thread, might have missed it or was discussed in the lobby. I also haven't seen much rotation going well not in the times I have been on.

@Johnny - I don't see much point tbh, if I turn the volume down then I probably won't even be listening, anything loud I just find distracting and never seen the benefit of mics personally, and similar to Jambo I usually have music etc playing in the background.

Anyway good luck to you guys and all the best, thanks for having me.

Has u say jambo is similar but he makes the effort to come on mumble once in a while. i can understand what you are saying that is why i have posted and said we should not spam the mumble chat during a match.

Please understand why i implemented this rule. This is only to help improve the communication for us mate during the match. Look, once we all become use to eachother and gel as a team and know how we all play together, being on mumble wont be soo important but u got to understand this team is mixed with loads of new guys and we need to become use to eachother. being on mumble helps by 10 folds.

imagine if we never was on mumble? this team will be far worse off! right now we play decent at times. play some nice football and thats all due to the understanding and communication of eachother.

If u have a better solution as to how we can communicate together while in a game. please let me know. This is a "team game" mate. And a team never stays silent with eachother lol :)
