Not had any free packs either! :(

Very nearly done with UT. The amount of bugs this game has is unreal. From the game randomly slowing your players down when you're through or tracking a run, to the peer power lace shots, to the under powered finesse shots, to the absolute randomness of the first touch system and the over powered, nubbin over the top through ball which also slows down your defenders. Miffed!

Think Ive pin pointed why the chip shot is overpowered - it doesnt seem that FIFA gives you any assists in locating the defender nearest to the chipped ball so you end up wasting a lot of time getting that under control.

They did reduce this same effect in 12 but at the same time they reduced the accuracy and increased the sensitivity of the chip so it was harder to perform. Now you can chip like FIFA 11 but not have the same defensive assists (what 12 changed) to combat them...

Ive got to the point where I just chip for the sake of it thinking the opponent will just not work out which defender he needs in time while my random player picks it up somehow :/

EDIT: To anyone thats just got free packs - did you not get any when FUT started outside of the season pass or UE version of the game? Could just be delayed free packs dependent on your 'loyalty' that you should have got at the start of you logging into FUT for the first time...

I logged on and got 3 gold packs and a mini silver, was wondering what they were for, got nothing at all in them, just discarded the lot!!
 
Likewise I got just a mini silver pack :(

Will try on the game later for the free 3 gold packs but not holding out hope.

I'm trying to save up for a CAM > CM card for Fellaini so I can him as a CDM but there all about 9 to 10k which isn't great.
 
If I buy this today, the Ultimate version. Do I still get 24 weeks worth of gold packs? Or is it 24 packs from a set date (august/september?)

Or should I just get the standard version?
 
Just logged in now, and I've got a 'promo' 'daily gift' of a mini silver pack. So that must mean that silver pack from earlier this morning was the 'compo' thing(?). :confused:
