EU wins nobel peace prize

I think it must have been a very short list.

Will George W. Bush win next year for not having invaded anywhere for 10 years?
 
I'm not sure what's worse, the EU getting it or Obama getting it?

Is there genuinely no people in the entire world left who actually do something towards peace?

Suppose it could have been worse, could have gone to Israel...
 
They may as well have not awarded it at all citing that there was no individual or independent organisation that was eligible this year.....that would have made a more relevant statement than awarding it to a political union that is arguably indifferent to peace, peace in Europe is something that probably had more to do with general increases in living standards, more global integration and businesses promoting stability in the pursuit of profits. They may as well have awarded it to the Banking Sector or NATO as the EU.

It seems to be an exercise in how to devalue their own institution even further.....
