Desinger Handbag for the Mrs

It's her Birthday in a couple of weeks and I've decided on getting her a hand bag and a new phone. Apart from the usual retail shops like Harvey Nicks and Miss Selfridges are there any other outlets that sell designer bags? By budget is £180 max.

Thats not very much for a good handbag, designer or otherwise. Does she prefer a particular designer?

Indeed.

The problem with designer bags (other than their price) is that a woman will either like it, or hate it. It would be better to take the other half to a Louis Vuitton shop and say, here's your budget knock your self out (not that £180 would get you that far in one of these shops).

I've seen a Moschino one for £175, so there are some out there for my budget.

Been reading some reviews (yes I know) and they are mostly suited to the office type people or students. My Mrs doesn't come into those categories and having looked at some more pics they do look kinda..... high school-ish

As said, £180 isn't enough for a designer handbag unfortunately. You are looking from £600+.

My Dad spent an absolute fortune on a handbag for my mum a few years back, it was really nice but not her 'style' so she barely used it.

What I'm trying to say is, let her decide, also £180 isn't going to cut it for a top designer handbag, adjust your budget to a £500 minium.

There is a world of other things you can get her too

£180 would probably get you a cheap purse at Louis Vuitton. Their cheap bags are about £500ish.
