I like the look of the toshiba, which will apparently come in i5/i8, upto 8GB ram, upto 256SSd

Would be nice if the atom ones could be power efficient as the rt and powerful enough to run some pcs games, but I can't see it happening, but will wait for some benchmarks.

Well its still pretty amazing that the RT will get the full PC Unreal 3 engine, should bring some interesting games to the RT.

Would also love to see if Nokia decide to develop something.

More tablets added, they really are being announced thick and fast, bit shocked about how many have now been announced and. Finally some. Solid prices announced (Lenovo tablets)
The asus transformer book, looks mega.
Discreet gfx and 1080p screen in a range of sizes, shame about the lack of other specs like NFC/3G/4g, hope they are on there.

But i think this idea could be huge. While a tablet couldn't run some new games, a Core i5/i7 tablet would run 99% of the whole PC catalogue of games, instantly giving it a far bigger game library than any portable console. And even Intels integrated HD4000 GPU can still produce better graphics than something like the PS Vita (it'll run Skyrim on medium settings).

I certainly wouldn't run a HD4000 on Skyrim at medium settings, maybe low.

No, rt is only metro apps, atom/i3/i5/i7 can run metro and normal software.

I agree razor is fail, I won't add it to op as its still totally in design and nothing about it is finalized.

Battery life, CPU power, size, weight and price of the atoms are all meant to be directly comparably to arm tablets.

The apps need minor alterations between rt and x86, so will have to see how many developers do that, but I expect most will due to the increase in potential customers, for not a hole lot of work.

I want i5/i7 to replace desktop and play games when I'm away with work. Plus if there are a few missing apps, can just use the website alternatives.

Not in the slightest, I just think some people expect stuff for nothing.

These are not cheap £150 android tablets. The prices are however directly comparable with the normal android tablets, like the asus transformer.

I thiink some have can in cheaper than I thought, like Ultrabooks its all going to depend on what specs you are going to want.

I think I might be Okay with an RT model, if I could get a full version I thought could replace my desktop at a reasonable price, I would be stonked at that.

Just thinking we havnt see anything price wise from the RT models though.
