Yeah exactly, its a touch screen Ultrabook with removeable keyboard.
I think this is why they are giving a 3 month gap beteen the RT and Pro models of the Surface. Let people get used to the new Surface as a tablet product / iPad competitor and then release the Pro when people are a bit more aware of the product.
I can see how to the general public it could be very confusing with the different models, especially if lauched simultaneously. Microsoft wouldn't want the average person looking at an iPad for £399 and a Surface Pro for £800+ thinking they were comparable products. Obviously he would go for the iPad.
there is a issue here though. many would think the windows surface RT runs fully fledge windows and think they can install normal windows desktop apps.
had i not asked and did research in forums i would have assumed all windows tablets run a fully fledge windows OS.
It is poorly advertised imo and the average joe would think the same
