paleeease.....tell you what - you can pay the same price as I will and I get free games and free haribo and you don't? Then you can sleep easy at night knowing there's no hidden agenda :D

If this is a HD 7950/70 I'll probably keep my whining HD 7950 and go crossfire. Thing is though how much will my i5 Lynnfield and PCI 2.0 8x/x8 hold me back?

It will hold you back but not by much. Mine did with a 2500K @ 4.6 but only noticable by running a monitoring tool like AB. In real terms, I may not of even known. Hope that helps.

Logic tells me this will be an NVIDIA card because AMD have had a couple recent price drops anyway and with prices the way they are AMD cards are probably selling well. I should imagine it is an NVIDIA strategy to make the market more competitive.

However i would happily like to see a £250 price tag for a 7970

Honest answer... Sleeping Dogs I hear is fantastic. My brother loves the Hitman games. Those two sound good to me. Quality freebies.

But many people dislike Far Cry 2, and I haven't been following FC3.

I suppose 2 out of 3 aint bad ;)

Sleeping dogs is a superb game.

Imagine GTA IV but with superb graphics. Welcome to sleeping dogs extreme preset.

Word of warning though, running extreme will add a minimum of 10c+ to your gpu's vrm temps.

Not sure if serious :confused:

I bought a 680 and a few days later it went for £20 cheaper. I moaned but then just accepted it...Life deals us these things at times but better not to worry about it :)
