Homeland

Been watching it on ch4 so far, (two great episodes so far. Unfortunately, a friend at work watches it on irish tv, (rte) which is one episode ahead of the uk. Every time he go's to talk about it i have to shout, "NO SPOILERS".

Episode 3 info

The fact Brody was the one sent to extract the tailor was a let down. Someone who is so widely known, and an asset the likes they'll never have again, being sent into a potential capture situation was so unrealistic. No way would they have sent Brody and for me it semi ruined a great episode.

I hope now it's coming out in the open, and I'm rooting for Carrie all the way (I have a soft spot for mad pretty women), I hope this is the final series and it ends well.

She's as mad as a box of frogs and still bugs me a little but I'm enjoying this immensely. Good start to the season.

S02E03 chat-

omfg how well acted was the part where Saul showed carrie? her character is annoying at times, but Clare danes is a great actress in my opinion. Loving this show so much, cannot wait to see what they do next, or how they will allow Brody to remain out in the open for any length of time

Yeah. It seems a bit early to have this out in the open (Well, between Saul and Carrie) so it'll be very interesting to see where the season goes from here.

Re: the end of S02E02

Guy I work with has an interesting theory. The safehouse gets raided as Saul's watching the video and the SD card gets lost/destroyed. He's the only person who's seen it, and has no evidence against Brody - he can't go to David, due to what happened in S01, so he involves Carrie and gets her to keep tabs on Brody... off the record

This is actually one of the stupidest episodes of anything I think I have ever seen, bar none. It doesn't break the series by any means but so far 0.5/10 and that's generous.

That episode was one of those pointless fillers. All we wanted to see was the SD card stuff, and all we got was a **** and bull ride around the backwhack.

I'm glad other people think this, it was genuinely laughable, to the point where it could have been a dark comedy. I was half expecting him to chop up the body, stuff it in his pockets and do the speach with blood dripping down the leg
Lol at Sol casually turning up at Carries straight from the airport - she only went back home that night on a whim, besides that, Carrie would have been completely off her face

Why would she be off her face? She threw up the tablets and wine. I do agree on the Saul front though, no way he knew she was there.

Well after never taking 15 or so tablets in one go I'm no expert but I'm guessing a little spew would not get that amount out of the system after a few mins.

Depends on the drug, some will stick around long enough to be thrown up like that.

How do you know he didn't try her at her sisters house first?
