No idea, but you actually need more of that RAM to fill all the slots and get the full effect.

Hmmm I think I will be ok with 8Gb, also would the cooler not cover the first slot anyway?

One thing with the board, when you get it update it immediately, early bios was very buggy, its getting much better now.

Also I am using Win 8 pre release at the moment and I actually quite like it to be fair.
