F.E.A.R is a steal at that price.

Anyone played Dead Horde? Tempted by that one.

Was hoping Dark Souls would be on the list.


Edit : seen TB's Dead Horde review. Don't think I'll bother.

The person saying keep this to the single thread would be right, otherwise how do you expect to know what other Halloween sales are on and who has the best prices? ;)

Steam sales have always had their own thread, don't mess with a good thing. It's not too hard to compare two threads, is it?
 
Looking to pick up Rage, as it's less than a £5 i think, can anyone let me know if they fixed the slow loading textures it had a launch?

Also has Dark Souls had the resolution fix thing? Or do you still need to do some patching etc?

Also can Dead space 1 and 2 be played with a 360 control pad?

Might get Alan Wake too...

I hate steam sales, always wanna buy stuff!

Just follow the link and download latest Dsfix (1.9). Unpack file to Dark Souls main directory, it's very easy to do. All you need to do then is tweak the Dsfix config file to your liking, read me file in download gives you full instructions. Game looking really good now with all these Dsfix updates.

Pretty sure the first one is considered to be the best of the series, haven't played 2 or 3 yet myself but I played Fear and thought it was a really good/atmospheric shooter.

The problems with RAGE's textures were only if you insisted on spinning around fast enough to catch the game out. It was never as bad as people claimed it was and they did improve it too.

I am getting tempted to fire up RAGE again in all honesty, purely because of the gun sounds :D
 
just grabbed fear 1-3 in dlc and the dead space pack, with ac3 being released tomorrow that enough gaming till xmas at least

I don't see why you should have to hop threads, it's not a big sale and certainly does not have the best prices as half the items are cheaper elsewhere, we are also comparing steamworks games here so they all end up in the same place any way.

All this means is that some people end up missing out on better deals, which also reduces incentive for steam to lower prices further for future sales. If it was the summer sale then I would agree, as it generally is the biggest sale with the best prices and without many comparable sales running concurrently.

In any case, If people must have a separate thread then I'll get back on topic.

I've picked up vampire the masquerade - bloodlines and fear 2 and 3 so far, was going to get the first but not multiplayer included :(
