I'm after a pair of warm but thin gloves. I need to be able to easily write with a pen or type with them on but also keep some of the cold out some my hands go numb. Anyone got recommendations?

I believe what you refer to is THE HOLY GRAIL of gloves :D

Let me know if you find some that are good. I've bought some Dakine neoprene gloves and some thermal liners for wearing under my issued duty gloves so far ready for the winter :D

Any links to ones you recommend?
I don't actually own a pair so I can't recommend any sorry :p

There are loads around though, so depends if you prefer buying a particular brand, go by looks or ratings and reviews etc.

But googling brings up this this review:

I think these Berghaus ones look quite sleek :p

Duty gloves are great if you're stood outside doing night time economy stuff, but as soon as you need to write something down, it's a drama to put your gloves somewhere where a random dressed as zombie isn't going to grab them when you're talking whilst keeping some sort of blood flow to your extremities...

*And breathe*...

Get some fingerless knitted/wool gloves. Keeps your hands & finger joints warm but your fingertips naked for writing & typing.
