TBH, wasn't excepting much from this game after crysis 2 (especially with EA behind it), even though I find it enjoyable enough to play but compared to crysis it was xxxx, just a crappy console port like most games these days. I have no intentions of giving EA/crytek any money for this game, will find another way to get it ;) :p

Rubbish it's an excellent game, one of the best shooters you can get, it's only faults are that DX11 has a few bugs, it crashes quite often plus, it's getting a bit repetative in NY city all the time, but this 3rd game looks more like FAR CRY so that's ok.

the 1st game is the one that was Krap.

This is basically a map pack for crysis 2 and could just be a dlc for crysis 2.

I don't share the crysis 2 sucks opinion I just thought it was a alrightish game.

Still a bit of a letdown, I can't see any improvements.

Apart from all this:

- physics being absolutely terrible compared to crysis, no need to explain just how bad the physics were in crysis 2, just look at youtube videos
- crysis 2 game was linear and you had hand holding throughout the game
- AI in crysis 2 was shocking, worst AI in a FPS game, nearly all enemies had a wallhack, which ruined any stealth approach
- didn't make any sense the story and didn't follow on from the original games

The only good thing about crysis 2 was that graphics looked more pretty from range (awful textures though), was more fluid and didn't need a beast of PC to play it smoothly.

Oh and the music was superb for crysis 2.

My 4850 512MB turbo iceQ4 still copes with the majority of game very well @1080 on high/medium settings apart from BF 3 and some other demanding games. Plus I don't play computer games as often these days so don't really feel the need to upgrade yet....

Enemies had wallhack? Maybe on hard but I remember playing crysis 2 on normal and I had numerous aliens just stop and stare at me until I shot them then they would fire back, pretty terrible

Quoted for truth, well as far as I can see after a few games.

Enjoying it a bit less than Crysis 2 so far, mainly as C2 felt fresher.
I like the match highlights at the end, though would be much better if it showed all players highlights and not only your own.

Yup also had that problem sometimes with them as well but there were times whenever you enter a new zone/area and next thing you hear the guys saying "he's over there" and they start firing to where I am (can see this using that unlock which shows bullet trails) and this was behind a big metal gate :confused:

And especially when you went underground to flank them, you hear them saying "he is in the sewers" and throw grenades down despite moving slowly with cloak on...


But yeah it seemed so random half the time, spot you no matter where you are or they just are so slow and stupid like this:

 
Thought Crysis 2 was great, personally.

Never played MP as it doesn't interest me. Hopefully C3 single player will be as good as C2.
 
Just played the multiplayer Alpha, my verdict...

meh!

I just hope the singleplayer is half decent.

Noticed a couple of new features which will no doubt be in the singleplayer and not just the multiplayer:

* Ability to pickup large items (like ripping plaques off the wall) and throwing them.

* Doing a ground slam after you jump.
 
Just had a quick go... On max settings at 1080p, was averaging 20fps... guess will get better as it gets optimized and drivers are sorted though. Thats with Crossfire 6950s

For all the abuse Crytek get, I'm amazed we even get it in the first place.

Never played any of them online anyway, not my cup of tea tbh, but I have enjoyed and more so completed every SP Crysis so far-I very rarely complete titles now as they are mostly all meh.
