Suggestion wise, if we are going to Brick lane maybe we should hang out somewhere about Leicester Sq, Covent Garden way then either go District to Aldgate East from Embankment or Central from Tottenham Court Road to Shoreditch.

Bear in mind that Brick Lane during the course of the day is pretty much a given and after a certain point it's rather like herding cats so whatever the starting venue is if it can be a single Tube ride away that is much better than relying on changes. Based on going to Liverpool Street or Aldgate East then walking over that would mean somewhere on the District/Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City or Central lines I think so there should be a reasonable amount of choice from that? It's up to Maccy though so if he fancies the South Bank then we could do that.
