Crysis 3 Alpha

My 4850 512MB turbo IceQ4 ran crysis 2 on medium/high and a few things turned off/on low very well at 1080P (obviously without the high res. texture pack :p) and still runs pretty much every game very well on high/medium settings i.e. dishonored on max was very smooth, batman AC with everything on max was very smooth, planet side 2 beta on mostly medium with the render down to 70 is smooth.

The only game where I notice lag is BF 3, although the alpha/beta ran so much better for me...


The 460 and 5850/5870 are still very good cards and can run BF 3 on mostly high/medium smoothly.



I will upgrade the card at some point but not till prices are reduced as currently they are a rip off IMO especially last gen cards like the 560TI, 6870 etc. and till I really need it :p
 
Crysis 2 runs easy on ULTRA, but this Alpha will be full of bugs/slow, it's bound to be. but at least you wont die all the time like in Borderlands
 
Been playing a couple of games on this today. I'm at uni at the moment so only have my laptop (i7/640M) so can only have it on a mixture of low and high. First impressions are good though, looks very nice, and I can imagine it must look pretty great with all the shinys turned up!

I thought it looked the same with a performance hit as an addition, i got 25-35 fps on max with some stuttering, but i still managed to hit 1st or 2nd each round, uninstalled it yesterday though as i got bored.
