Balance, temperature, vents, the cover keyboards. Far better build qaulity, screen tech etc. shame about NFC though.
Who knows what the price will be. A German site has just released surface pro prices at £650 for 64gb and £730 for 128gb, germnay has 19% tax so very similar. Probably not true, but god damn that would be awesome.

Lack of mobile is a pain, but going to go three one plan for unlimited tethering.

Zoostorm sl8 and a cheap Chinese tablet both have 1366, can't find any silly cheap ones ATM though.

That's not an option on my network (giffgaff), who are dirt cheap for unlimited Internet.

Damn, I see about that but didn't do the conversion. Think I'll wait as well, I was expecting it to be at least a grand.
 
Three is just as cheap as giffgaff now and for £25 can get unlimited tethering. As well as a far superior 3G network.

I wouldn't get hopes up at that price, probably just going for free publicity, the surface isn't even for sale outside of MS.

Thanks hadn't noticed that price plan, I was looking at seperate phone and dongle plans. The Ultimate 200 would do me, plus the tethering it's only £17.90 a month.

What'd you need 1366 pixels wide for?

I've never noticed any problem at all with mine.
Metro applications all work fine.
 
There is a simple RegEdit to enable it, but not sure how useful it is, as there all designed to use more pixels than available.
 
Ah well, was worth a try.

Still found two tablets, just need to find them around the 200 mark rather than 300. Once you hit 300 then might as well just go a little more and get winRT
