Google has changed their search page again

They have removed the spell check feature and removed the search tools. Why do they insist on making things worse. Every decision google has made in the last few years has been realy bad. Youtube design, google instant bs, now the new search page. realy annoys me when they make changes that removes features and makes my day to day usage of the site that bit more difficult. You would think they would go the opposite direction.

What a load of non sense just checking out the google forums and i am not alone in my annoyance. This is a good screenshot...

I can't link directly to the screenshot because the link fails. They realy need a lesson in design, the previous layout apart from the google instant was perfect imo.

Hasn't changed for me but then all the options down the left column are available at the top. Really don't see all the fuss if the left column goes tbh.
