Comet sale TODAY 9AM

My boss has asked me to go look so im driving there as we speak. The main local one has shut already so i think they have pumped all the goods into one locatio to do it that way
 
Good job I spent my gift card late on Thursday night as this situation was developing. I had a £500 card and mine is on the list of cards that they are still refusing to honour.
I managed to spend it all on a 42" Panasonic LED TV so I would sooner have that then be a potential unsecured creditor.

They tried to sell me a monster HDMI cable for a reduced price of £40 - yeah right the one from the pound shop works a treat.
 
My builders were in B&Q next to the Slough Comet and they said it looked like an absolute nightmare. (Comet, not Slough which is a given)

I picked up some good stuff in Best Buy's closure. Wasn't exactly rock bottom pricing, but it was the most competitive it had been since their grand opening in the UK. (62" LG LED TV for £999)
 
Might have a wee look on my way to a meeting as the local store is one on the list, will probably be a waste of time but hey ho worth a look.
 
There is one about 5 mins away from me, may pop over in a sec see if its worth bothering with.
 
People on Twitter consistently saying that the discounts are very small, 10% on stuff like laptops etc.
