The lighting desk at a theatre I use still only has a floppy drive to save/backup scenes etc, it is the only use I have for a floppy disk.

I use one as have a Yamaha Piano with a built in floppy drive in it for MIDI files. So need one to transfer files across.

Although I am tempted with one of these USB to floppy emulators.

I've still got a disc with ACHI drivers (I think) from a build about 5 years ago but I've haven't had a drive in maybe 10 tens years as a guess.

I remember having to buy a Zip drive and disks for uni as CAD files and rendered models were too big for floppys.

As for floppys themselves not used one for god knows how long.
