I got mine yesterday after I had some issues with the HTC 8X (poor build quality) - I got the last one available (white) in the phones4u store in stevenage. It looks and feels lovely, I prefer it to the 8X, feels more solidly built and the built in nokia apps (especially drive and music) are brilliant! The camera is also great and churns out better quality pictures than the 8X.

Tis a bit annoying really, if EE's 3G wasn't so pants I'd have ported my number over and left it at that. But half the speed is a bit crap. I spend a lot of time at work, so having good 3G at work is important.

Still, £41 is cheaper than other options I've seen.
 
if you after the full monty plan heers what i did.
i have got the full monty plan by phoning t mobile outright and placing the order over the phone.
i ordered mine on friday and they told me it coudl arrive in 7-10 days..
as i rang them yesterday they told me they would get the lumia 920 stock in this friday (16th november).
but i DO hope she was guessing AND the phone comes before then :p
at the moment this phone has been nothing but hope for a lot of us :D

They told me it would come last week. I dont believe them at all. Why do people have this in the shop and not people that preordered, so irritating (especially if you want to sell it like me!).
 
I came straight here to mention the email I got from Clove but it seems it's been covered. :)

I got a little excited and was prepared to place my order immediately, then I saw the price - £520! Are they havin' a laugh?

I know they're a business and when supply can't meet demand that's a recipe for high prices, but I don't like it and won't play. :p It's bad enough EE/Nokia/P4U are shafting us, without all the other suppliers using the situation make a killing.

My limit is the price it's costing to buy from Amazon.de

when you say they told you they will have it last week.did you phone them..
and i dont understand why they dotn have any information on the website.its not even in the comign soon section . all you see is, I PHONE I PHINE I PHONE and the odd galaxy s3 somwhere.
im going to give them another call after work, hopefully another operator gives a quicker date.lol.but again..im HOPING :)
 
Well, the launch of the 920 has been the biggest balls up ever.

How the hell can my local P4u get a load in, yet t-mobile, EE, and Orange can't. Bunch of useless muppets the lot of them. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Out of interest, do you get the free wireless charger and speaker from t-mobile, Orange, or EE???
 
you get the free wireless charger online. they give you a link, you enter details and wait for it to be delivered!

as for the video of nighttime...wow. that is pretty cool

T-mobile don't know when they're going to get them and can't give a delivery date.

Oh, and FYI, there's no text alert saying when it's going to be delivered as by default they use the royal mail. So you just have to sit around waiting for the bang on the door, which will no doubt happen when you're out.

You can for £5 go for the courier option, nut you'll only get the txt on the day of delivery, which is great if you're at work. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

A question for the guys that have got it:

How are you coping with the lack of a notification centre?
Do notifications get lost in the system?

Can you place whatsapp on lock screen notification?
