Errrr because ive had other Haribo type of sweets ie halal ones :confused: and they all suck.

Quite true, I think the potentially wasted haribo got to me a bit too much there, might go hunt for some sweets now :D
 
So a request like this basically ruins it for everyone as OcUK won't be able to provide any sweets in case they risk alienating or offending a particular ethnic group.

I know Quorn bacon is vile, but that doesn't mean real bacon is vile.

Who's over-reacting? People are just saying it's a daft suggestion, and I have said they've raised it in the improper medium. Barely any over reacting that I can see :)

Except it doesn't ruin it for anyone as OcUK don't have to provide sweets to anyone at all ever. It makes no difference at all!

religion should be like booze and cigs. over 18s only. its just as damaging too.
