***Black Ops 2***

Going by the non-IGN reviews and some comments here I think I'll get this game like when I got the original Black Ops for £9.99 earlier this year.... eventually.
 
Just been watching a stream for PC on twitch

Nice to see the community hasn't changed, scream hacks cause a team is raping them :D
 
Played about 2 hours of zombies earlier and had a great laugh with some randoms. Doing the Tranzit? map. Its several zones together, you ride a bus moving to each zone. I believe you need to collect "parts" in each zone to activate something. I guess when all parts are activated you get power. Had a cracking time playing with that.

Nuke town zombies is good fun as well. Feels like zombies is more "open" than it used to be. Less constant window camping atleast.

Multiplayer seems ok as well. Only played 3 maps so far but they were ok. Preferred them to MW3 maps atleast.
 
I like to think of myself as a winter gamer :p and now the weather is changing I'm getting the itch to dust off the ol'rig and get into a game. Really loved playing the first BO and I'm sure this one will be just as much of a laugh (not expecting too much but pick up and have a blast).
On a better note, had bit of a spending spree at BestBuy last month, just checked my reward balance and can now get this game for $5 :D
 
Hm CoD4 was a beast! The best CoD ever released? Propably. MW2 was good, had a lot of fun playing with my mates. But when i bought BO, i just sold it a week later. The game for me was just not good enough. Never tried MW3, because i switched to BF3.
 
It's not the best game. The maps are poor and hip fire is more accurate than aiming in, imo moh is better.
 
People just love hating on COD games.

Yes it is pretty much the same format every year, but if that's what people enjoy then why change it?
You cannot argue with the sales figures they have produced for the last 5-6 years.

Downloaded this last night and played for a few hours and I'm really enjoying it.
After being let down with MW3, which to me just felt tedious and boring, I am quite impressed with what they have produced this time around.

Funny how IW used to be the king of COD games, and now it seems that Treyarch have stolen that crown.

I'm actually rather enjoying this.

Is just a shame we can't rent our own servers anymore, especially with the max party size of 6 for TDM. It makes playing together as a clan really difficult.
We figured out last night that the best way to do it is to form a party of 6 and then start a game. As soon as the lobby screen comes up, get everyone else to join on the people in the party. We were able to get 11 of us in.
 
Well i have played this game a fair bit and in my opinion it is a lot better than mw2,mw3 and the first black ops! Its no cod 4, but its a decent game.
 
Going to buy this today since its only £32 at morribogs.

I always say im not going to get this edition etc etc... But i always do.

Getting it for PS3 btw, since my little 9800gt wont handle the powaaaa
