Which Jobs Pay Well But Aren't Too Demanding?

I'd go with IT Trainer.

Law firms regularly advertise 40-50k trainer jobs. Simply put confidence and the ability to muddle through often pays well!

that Psychologists fits the question quite well....

Unfortunately it's about the most competitive profession to get into and that number does not take account of all the people who are serving tables whilst they watch the other 100 people who went to the same interview get the few jobs out there.

My idea (but needs capital): run a nursery. You have a client base that needs you more than you need them, your labour is cheap, all you have to do is fill out forms and tick the boxes on the advisory criteria.

Professional Footballer is the one that comes to mind first :p Playing a game you love for, quite frankly, an offensive amount of money :p

SEO advisor (for the next few years, before it catches on that you sit around doing nothing all day getting paid £100 an hour)

Database administrator - Boring job but you can earn ridiculous money doing it in the city.

Law clerk - Starting pay is rubbish but you don't need any qualifications. If you're willing to stick with it for the longterm, senior clerks can earn well into six figures.

Anything involving any kind of danger pay. A firefighter would be an example I guess. Of course it does involve putting yourself in mortal danger at times but the rest of the time it is relatively undemanding.

Pornstars
:)

Pay very well and not high demanding lol

I can't see why guys would get decent pay though, most dudes would jump at the chance, so it's not a supply/demand sort of thing.

With regards to the guys with monster ****s, I don't understand why they get paid more anyway, the target demographics is other dudes, why would they want to see some guys massive johnson?

Seriously - Niche development

If you have good development skills in an emerging language (eg python, Ruby on Rails) skills you can expect a good salary and quite a slack work lifestyle.

There's loads and loads of things that aren't too demanding but pay well.

They all need vast amounts of experience, training and/or qualifications.

Also working in 1st/2nd line IT in Afghanistan and Iraq is well paid and not at all demanding.

Quite an amount of danger though.

However can be very demanding, I used to know a tube driver who is sadly no longer with us after being unable to cope with the guilt of hitting the person that jumped out in front of him.

Which can happen to anyone who drives a car for example..tube drivers get support after running over people as well, so it's slightly better than running over someone with your car.

btw, their salary is £45k+/year.

Another job to add to the list:
Pharmacist

Slightly strange comparison. I imagine the risk of suicides on the Underground is significantly higher than your everyday commute to work.

edit: in real life terms I drive 2 hours a day, not one suicide have I seen or heard from colleagues / friends / family who drive 10's of thousands of miles. In the 10 times a year or so I visit London every year, I have at least 1 disruption due to a fatality on the Underground.
