Getting sick of FUT this year. They've totally ruined it for me with the rubbish AI and the handicapping/scripting/balancing/whatever you want to call it.
Been done over because of it twice in a row tonight, as a result I got knocked out of a cup, and lost against some pathetic silver team 6-5.
What is the point in these decent players if they perform worse than average-joe silver? Why should I bother to try and win anything when I'm counting on the proverbial coin toss as to whether my players will actually play properly, or theirs won't be supermen.
An example might be used in CoD, for example. I'm not a big fan, but I think it can illustrate my point.
Imagine you have your weapons, your loadout and whatever, but you had a % chance that when you shoot, it actually doesn't at all, or it randomly jams. Or maybe it suddenly fires daisies or something. And then there's the % chance that your opponent will fire a hundred homing bullets each second directly to your head. It of course works in reverse.
Can you imagine that? It would be ridiculous. Yet somehow EA get away with it in FIFA. Probably because they have fanboys at their disposal and mods to delete and ban people who suggest it on the official forums.
I'm seriously considering selling my teams, selling my coins and chucking it in the bin. Where's the enjoyment when I have to rely on rng to actually be able to play a proper game? I find no satisfaction in being dumped out of the division title or cups randomly because the game decides to give the other player a massive boost.
It's a joke.
Oh and where are injuries? Why did they take them out? And why did they not inform us on the actual game that they've made a significant change? Where's the 'realism' in that? Invulnerable players.
How about the commentary? What's the point of even having it in if all they do is moan about how the keeper who has kept a clean sheet is having a woeful game, or that despite having 5 games left to play, and 3 points to stay in the division do they go on and on about how you "have to win".
Celebrations are just stupid. They're not realistic at all. How many players will prance like fairies, pretend to be a DJ or crawl along the pitch? Only a handful, and very rarely. There's no realism at all.
Frankly, it's a poor show this year and it's doubtful that I'll be getting it next year. Which is a shame, because normally I would play at least another thousand matches and put in some more money.
"Yes, put in £100 and the best you get is Rolando, gg". :S
Rant over.
