Got to say after having the phone for 24 hours I'm loving it, took a while to get used to the new OS and customise it to a good standard but i'm well happy.

Makes Apple IOS look like old tech, live tiles are the way forward and whilst I understand android allows a good deal of customisation I've never owned an Android handset.

Agreed - how was battery life for you on day 1?

Ropey, it started with 50% battery and I trickle charged via some low amp USB port so it took forever to get to about 60%.

By the evening after using the satnav twice and playing with it (lightly) for most of the day it had 10%.

It's not really a fair comparison though as I was playing a lot with customisation, downloading etc... but not heavy usage (music/video for long periods).

Today it's on a full charge, but it's been switched off all morning. Have a new sim in it (not sure if it will activate today). But i'll keep an eye on it for you.

Here's a thought....could the new LG Nexus 4 Google phone wireless charger be used with this? I understand both use IQ wireless charging...

I should work fine, the only problem is the Google charger has a sloping surface and the 920 does not have alignment magnets like the Nexus 4. This means the 920 would just slide off the charger whereas the magnets in the Nexus would keep it in place.

EE customers waiting for delivery.. I have a text from a delivery company for something today, can only be the 920. Looks like they are finally shipping from EE. woo.

People getting their phones. People getting them, then sending them back. I might have to stop reading this thread until mine arrives; which could be any time in the next 6 months. :(

wpcentral are advising that a full hardware reset leads to greatly improved battery life

It should work with the HP Touchstone but it is also slanted so the device would fall off.

Apparently this is an urban myth - the device appears to be charging, but in reality the battery level doesn't go up, only down. (Im talking about the palm pre chargers here)

remember folks, you may have forgotten, to speed up the charging do the following:

1) Switch OFF ALL your data connections (including wifi, bluetooth and obviously your data connection)
2) faster charging from the socket outlet than your laptop/PC

son of a bitch.
cyberport NOW showing the 22nd for the yellow and 29th for the red! it was the 15th for both!!! URGH!!!!!!

That's not good, oh well I am happy enough with the white handset.
