ocuk shop pg with black borders

Fixed width? Really? Any site that doesn't respond to the browser window being resized in 2012 is doing it wrong...

Last thread got removed I think (though I may have forgotten where it is).

Indeed, it looks poor and as I said before, a tech shop in 2012 using 2006 resolutions is not cool.

For me Chrome is full screen, IE10 is half screen but couldn't care less either way tbh as the functionality hasn't changed.

why do websites insist on being tiny narrow ****ing this, got 1920 pixels to play with why only use 1024 of them :/

especialy an enthusiast site where the average user is using at least 22" monitor.

If I remember correctly from the previous thread this is a decision by OcUK to display the shop site this way "for now".

Presumably they have other plans for the future.

If you really care you could just use Firefox/Chrome to customise the CSS with something like Stylish. All you'd need to do is nuke this line in the body tag:
PHP:
max-width: 1259px;

or set in your own style:
PHP:
max-width: auto;

i guess i just need a new home pg then :(

thing is a lot probably use it as homepg from here and you often spot deals .

so i would actually sort this as it may cost you business
