Claude's alright, in my eyes, hes the character that was the last of the old school GTAs. For me, GTA didn't change when it went 3D, it changed when the main character spoke, Vice City. :p

Infact I still remember the first time I played Vice City, I was confused as to who I'd be playing as, because everyone in the intro spoke, I was like :confused:. :p

Although Niko is still the best.

tl,dr version (kinda): We are useless, we can not port on PC, we give up on platform unless game is linear console port, sorry master race, please don't hack us and delete all our stored data for GTA 5.

Anyone accept that challenge?
 
Perhaps currently he can’t say anything more due to Microsoft and Sony demanding console exclusivity as part of the deal for first 6 months, was the same with GTAIV.

Exactly. I'd say the whole 'console exclusive' mantra is just to generate more sales. But it's still a crap move as it just alienates PC gamers from Rockstar.

money talks my friends,they're good at what they do and us muppets with both consoles and gaming pcs will most likely give in and buy it on console at release then 6 months down the line get it on PC too.:o

Not me, I'll be waiting on a PC release. No way am I getting a game that will run poorly and look bad on a console.

could be etxra 6 months i doubt i can wait that long but tbh i played gta4 on ps3 and cba to play it later on pc with better gfx but gfx will be so much better on pc i would much rather enjoy all that eye candy and extra draw distance etc..

thing is gta4 was kinda boring so it was hard to replay anyway...and also gta games are so long and big kinda not that much fun to replay imo.

I treid gtasa with hd mod on pc to replay but i got bored fast. Guess ill have to waitit out if i wany pc one.
 
Im not sure il buy it on PS3,The draw distance in IV was horrible imo even just looking down the street,So imagine what GTA V would look like with its larger map,how rockstar can say that the current consoles are not that limiting is just stupid..

If they insist on making it a console only game,wouldn't it have been better to wait for PS4/New xbox?.

Less sales, why on earth would they want that?

1. They'd have to wait for two consoles that haven't been announced yet (and who knows how close together they will release?

2. They would lose out on the huge install base the 360 and PS3 have.
 
I'm going to jump aboard this thread as I can't wait for GTA V! Such a shame no PC news yet....

My assumption is that they are putting PC gamers into limbo so they are not sure if it's going to be released, therefore anyone willing enough to buy a copy on Xbox/PS3 so this will cut down on piracy.

Personally I'll be buying it on console if its released early just so I can get my hands on it. I mean hopefully they do an insane version for PC with added features, of course better graphics and hopefully mod functionality ....

I did used to play GTA Vice many years ago on PS2 same with San Andreas so I was quite tuned in to playing these games on a console.

Can not waitt!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I haven't used my PS3 for anything other than watching media for years. I said Id wait for Red Dead to come out on PC, or not play it. Ill say the same for GTA V. No PC version, no sale from me!
 
I'm wondering if the PC version will be released at the end of the year to tie in with GTA V HD on next gen? :p

Rockstar don't usually port up to another console that quickly but maybe they would want to test out the tech and maybe have some dealings going on with Microsoft to be a lunch title or there abouts.
