Best Hitman game?

Hi there! I just got extra cheap a collection with all PREVIOUS Hitman games. So,guys, which one do you consider best and i should start with?
 
Aa, so Contracts (included in the collection i got) has the first game with upgraded graphics? Should i start with it then?
 
Nah, Contracts is what happens in between mission 2 and 3 in Blood Money. It's very good IMO, has a few unique and original levels, a lot of remade levels from Codename 47, the best engine of the last generation Hitman games and an awesome ending level, you'll love it if you ever watched Leon.

Codename 47 is bloody hard though, as is Silent Assassin, from Contracts onward it got pathetically easier sadly. All my hopes lay on Purist difficulty for some old school fun. :D

Although the only real reason it was hard in I & II is because the A.I was atrociously dumb and simple, which meant they'd often do unrealistic things and spot you extremely easily, and because 47 himself was super under powered, the guy sneaks at about 0.0001mph in them. :p
 
I love 'em all!

But man, I fired up Contracts a few weeks ago and it felt sorely dated...

Silent Assassin and Blood Money are the best of the series imo. Codename 47 was brutally difficult and a bit buggy. But it's been a while since I played that.
 
Silent Assassin imo- afterwards the game allowed you to run everywhere without blowing disguises and atmoshpere was lost. Walking is cool :p
 
tbh i loved blood money but silent assassin was the one that most of my time went into, couldnt click with contracts very well, although still enjoyed it
 
imo i would at least play silent assassin and blood money just for the backround story (sort of, and because they're great) and by that time Absolution will probably have been patched if it needs it

After running several benchmarks, everytime the minimum FPS was the same, as was the maximum and average, regardless of quality settings. That's on an AMD machine which this game is apparently biased towards. It definitely needs some code patches. :p
 
I only got to opera house in blood money. Anyone know wher ei can fidn saved games or a cheat as I dont want to start from start for liek 5th time again and lost my save game
 
I thought Bloodmoney was exceptional :)

I do really want to play the new game, I think it will have to wait until my time off over Christmas.
