On a Windows PC once you've installed a driver you should be able to drag and drop stuff onto the phone.

Is there not somthing to download or stream from the handset, or do you have to log on and do it from a pc?

Keen on getting a couple of films on the phone to watch while travelling.

Bang goes my battery test.

I suspect a lot of these battery problems are due to the data the 920 downloads when you associate it with facebook etc, mine seems to have downloaded every facebook photo I've ever posted, which no doubt battered the battery in the first few days., today was looking at being WAY over 24 hours, until I downloaded 132mb of Mirrors Edge.

Go into flight mode and try to view facebook images, it won't work. They're streamed not downloaded.

Yeah, I bought one after going to pick up my phone and dropping it on the garage floor. £400 phone, put it in a £1.36 case LOL.

In all fairness It's pretty good, very good infact, it extends 0.5mm above the phone screen, so even if you put if face down on the table, the screen won't touch. It actually looks pretty damn good on the phone as well, and more importantly, gives 10000% better grip.

Is that a hard case or a gel case? How thick is it?

Gel, I'd say 1.2mm. it does exactly what which was to protude half a mil above the screen, so if you lay it flat on a table, the screen doesn't touch. For a quid 36, I'm happy.

That case will lead to degraded photo quality, if you look at the depth of the case next to both the lense and flash, it is noticeably deeper and will cause shadows. Have seen this with similar cases on the iphone.

It has its own non-swappable plug, direct to mains.

Upgrade via P4U to Orange, I did that, got a black phone.

£28.50 per month, 600mins, unlimited text and 1 GB data. Free phone + £20 cash back to me in a couple months time.

My previous contract was £36 - £7.50 'Loyalty' bonus, same tariff.

If you want a free phone and willing to settle for 2 years, that's one way to do it for not a lot more than the phone sim free and a under £10 per month over 24 months.

If tethering is important to you, e.g. you have a wifi tablet, then the Three plan is good but the phone don't seem quite on par with the Lumia 920.

Seriously, it's the best phone I've had, ever.

That is for the 920 I assume? I plan to tether a lot as my net is crap at home and the gfs 'borrowing' someones at the moment so will tether at hers.

It uses a 12V adaptor. You couldn't get enough output from 5V.

Can I just ask am I not able to turn the phone off when I charge at night?

Everytime i tried to turn the phone off last night with the charging cable plugged in the phone would just switch back on, cant be doing with it going off while trying to get some shut eye.

You can't charge it while its turned off.

Just have to press the volume key once and then tap the top right bell icon to quickly put the phone on silent (or vibrate if you have that switched on).

So anyone know where in Europe the Grey Lumia 920 can be purchased/pre-ordered? Its funny the American retailers like negri electronics say that they are importing it from Europe but I can't find anywhere selling it?
