Steam Autumn Sale Starting November 21st?

Yea probably 6pm always is. Only reason valve is like DFS is cause its summer sales, halloween, autumn then christmas all after each other :p

Hilarious that some still think any sales start based on UK and not US time zones... especially a sale around a US holiday!

In this country, regardless of what time it is in America, things on Steam happen at 6PM, that's not to say that it starts based on our time zone, that's just what the time is in this country when things start.

It's still the 21st in America isn't it?

they are behind us so I would have thought so ;)

Behind by something like 6 hours? So it's like 6:20AM.

So, it'd be 12PM American time that things go up, which would translate to 6PM here.

Obviously, guessing figures :p

Wow this sale is perfectly timed if the dates are correct. I'm moving ISP at the end of this month so I'm without internet from the 28th to the 4th.

Fingers crossed for Mark of the Ninja on sale. 25-33% would do me nicely. Plus whatever else I feel like buying but never actually getting round to playing ><

America is 5-8 hours behind, depending on where in the States you are. East Coast is 5 hours, West Coast is 8.

I'm just gonna keep buying stuff because it's cheap, even though I never have time to play them all I just can't resist. To be fair it is nice problem to have, given that back in the day you used to buy a game for £40 based on a magazine review or something and it could turn out to be a load of rubbish. Now we can buy 8 games for our £40 thanks to the Steam sales so if there's a few duds it's not really a problem.

Nope. I have no intention buying anything. Borderlands 2 and Sleeping Dogs is keeping me busy atm. I'll wait till Xmas sales.

Somewhile back there was a thread about a game which I thought looked great but at the time I was still running a very old P4 PC so there was no way it would run for me, however now I have a new PC (ok it'[s a year old...so hugely out of date now...lol) and thinking about the Steam sale made me think of the game but I have no idea what it's called...

Basically it was an air skirmish based game, so you took control of a plane flying about and having dogfights with other people...can any one point me in the right direction???

Wings of Prey ?

I'm not falling for this sale malarky again. Every time I end up buying games I'll never play just cause they're cheap.

Well not this time! And to make sure I won't give in once the sale actually starts, I've just been and bought every game on the front page and on my wishlist.

Ha! Sale, do your worst!
