Installing Wordpress on 1and1 sub domain

I have uploaded the unzipped WordPress zip to a directory on my sub domain by ftp.

I have pointed the sub domain I created to this directory.

I have changed the name servers of this sub domain to those of WordPress and waited for it to propogate.

When I type the sub domain URL no page loads...

Any tips?

Flushed your DNS? It's not instant...

Can take up to 48 hours.

Addicted - how do I flush? You mean on cmd from my PC? Or on the host?

Why did you do this? Is the installation of wordpress somewhere else away from your servers?

No, should I revert back to the 1and1 name servers?

All I want is WordPress on the subdom...just a noob with WordPress....

Can you screenshot any settings that you have done and post it in here so people can see?

You shouldn't need to have changed any name servers.

What is your domain name? so I can do a crawl.

Reverted the name servers back and its all good!!

Great news! You shouldn't need to touch name server settings really. Not when your touching sub domains.
