UKIP Foster Parents Screwed

Seems fair enough. A couple who believe so strongly in "sending those foreigners back to where they come from" that they have joined UKIP, probably shouldnt be fostering kids from a migrant background. It doesnt seem in the best interest of the kids.
Is that what UKIP actually campaign for...?

That's madness. Are they confusing UKIP with BNP or EDL? UKIP is not anti-immigrants, it's anti-immigration (or, the way it is currently) and anti-EU.

I can only assume this is another case of bad DM style reporting and their political allegiance with a factor of many about why they were unsuitable foster parents.

Anti immigration is seen as racist in this country, hence why those liberals facistas don't like to hear the truth, they like to control what people should do.
You get people on these boards that have been brainwashed and anything that has a non native subject is forced down the road of its racist to shut people up.

Harsh and the reality is it's probably going to affect the poor kids more than anyone else. Its ludicrous business, pointing fingers at guardians for being racist because they support an independent political party. I fail to see the link myself, but nothing stops the media from trying to force views upon its prey.

Overall, it seems like a hit at Nigel Farage resides within this, jealousy and envy is building at the realisation of other parties that this man actually knows what he's talking about, whilst they can't do a lot about it because these new boys don't have a clue.

Very harsh. I'm pro-Europe so naturally disagree with UKIP's policies, but they're hardly a racist party. Heads must roll at whatever council it was.

You say that as if UKIP voters aren't just BNP suppporters too worried about what the neighbours might think.

So you are happy for individuals of a group to be judged on the broad characteristics maybe even stereotypes of the group? So you are happy with discrimination and prejudice then.

As for the OP, if as reported, shameful decision. People should be judged on their ability to foster not their political persuasion and most certainly not through prejudice.

So a child-care nurse and RAF reservist aren't deemed suitable enough to raise some "non-indigenous" children because they happen to be member of UKIP? What a disgusting farce.

Also, from what I am reading Rotherham Council may have discovered their membership to UKIP by rooting through their waste.

Children need a stable and loving family for the best upbringing. Moving them out of what appears to be a stable family seems a little dumb to be. Politics needs to keep its nose out of this and whoever authorised this removal needs to be sacked, pronto.

You say that as if UKIP voters aren't just BNP suppporters too worried about what the neighbours might think.

HAHAHAHA
You're so funny.
Would this include the black gentleman who is running as a UKIP candidate next month?
Is he worried his neighbours might think him racist so he is hiding in the antiimmigration closet?

I am wondering if in general now durfin' has become trollin'.
I'm seeing little to sway that though process.

As for the OP, seems a strange decision, for the reasons they have publicised. If they feel the kids would be better off somewhere else, then refoster them, it was just emergency cover anyway, there should be some process in the background to find more permanent cover. The issue stands, if the kids were English, they would not be removed from that environment? There is something discriminatory there, and I don't think it relates in any way to how the kids are being treated.

Ridiculous to be honest.

No matter what your political stance, you shouldn't be stopped from having children.

So long as you don't attempt to indoctrinate the kids (and even then it's arguable, how many labour, or conservative parents influence their kids views?)

It's about how good you are as a parent. Not your political opinion.

A decision by a Labour controlled council to remove eastern European children from a couple who support UKIP isn't politically motivated ?

don't be ridiculous - just because the council is Labour does not mean every single person that works for them is a Labour votor!

its just one idiot social worker thinking they are being clever

Not surprised, i have to work with social workers and they are on another planet. At best they are bunch of idiots who have dar too much power.

Having actually had the opportunity to work with social workers is the most amazing part of your paragraph here. I sent a form off relating to accessibility equipment in my house back in March and I'm still awaiting a response from them! Don't think I can blame them though. It'll be because of under staffing due to the squeeze that is affecting all sectors at the moment.

As for the OP - that's definitely harsh. Reminds me of a case years ago where a homosexual couple was denied foster/adoption.
