Steam Autumn Sale Starting November 21st?

Oh no, it happened ><

Metro 2033 on offer, I think "Yeah I'll take it for that price", go to purchase it and its greyed out.

Turns out I bought it already a while back and forgot.

Its not a steam sale unless you try to buy something you already have :D

lol, i had to check up on that game too :p i'm still downloading stuff i bought at last years sale

I'm sure I brought them for £2.49 each in past Steam sales, they are good games the first one is looking dated now second is meh, plays well but I liked the story from the first one better.

Strongly disagree with the first one looking dated, it still kicks most 'modern' games arses in terms of visual quality. Only game I can think of recently that looks better are Tomb Raider and Hitman Absolution. Bioshock is a timeless classic that'll still look good in 10 years time IMO.

Anyone who hasn't played Metro 2033 and Psychonaughts, should change that. Does anyone know what Mount & Blade is like in terms of an RPG? Is it just a sandbox/semi combat sim?

Haven't got around to playing Mark Of The Ninja but Hotline Miami is so much fun :D
I hope FTL goes on offer although it's looking unlikely.

I'm tempted to buy Star Wars Battlefront 2 £3.24, I had this on the original Xbox when it was released in 2005.
I don't think it was multiplayer on Xbox juts bots, i googled and found people were still playing online in 2011 anyone know if people are still playing now and is it worth getting on PC?
Thanks

If people still played Battlefront 2 then I'd get it.

Yeah I loved the game I will bite the bullet even if there is no online I'll play like I did on the Xbox against bots. Now all we need is Battlefront 3 to be released there's been loads of Alpha footage banded around for years!

This is my favourite game ever, I was alarmed to see 950 hours spent on the game (over a month of my life  ) not to mention I have played the enhanced exe a lot off of steam too and have a hundred odd hours in warband as well. I don't often stick to games for ages but this one I did.

If you are an RPG player who likes set goals and at least a semi linear plot to follow then this game will not really give you that. The quests you get are pretty much token in how they effect your overall game, it is really all about the combat, managing your army and building a kingdom.

There are lots of mods which expand the economic, diplomatic and kingdom management side of the game and they add a lot of extra scope (Sword of Damocles adds lots of EU3 features into the game which works nicely).

If you like fantasy there are big lord of the rings and warhammer mods out for M&B.

There are many visual, sound, environment mods needed to bring the best out of the game as the game does look dated in stock vanilla but I can recommend a list if you do buy it.

I was thinking this but for £7.50 I thought sod it, just installing now ill let you know if you like

Yes please.
Read some of the reviews and when it was released very buggy(wonder if any have been fixed) and just lots of its nothing like sim city. But don't really say why or if its any good. Seems to get average reviews.
