Steam Autumn Sale Starting November 21st?

This is my favourite game ever, I was alarmed to see 950 hours spent on the game (over a month of my life  ) not to mention I have played the enhanced exe a lot off of steam too and have a hundred odd hours in warband as well. I don't often stick to games for ages but this one I did.

If you are an RPG player who likes set goals and at least a semi linear plot to follow then this game will not really give you that. The quests you get are pretty much token in how they effect your overall game, it is really all about the combat, managing your army and building a kingdom.

There are lots of mods which expand the economic, diplomatic and kingdom management side of the game and they add a lot of extra scope (Sword of Damocles adds lots of EU3 features into the game which works nicely).

If you like fantasy there are big lord of the rings and warhammer mods out for M&B.

There are many visual, sound, environment mods needed to bring the best out of the game as the game does look dated in stock vanilla but I can recommend a list if you do buy it.

Not really sure where that puts me, it sounds a lot like Kingdom Under Fire (not the **** RPG thing, the massive combat hack and slash before it) which is both good and bad, good because it was good but bad because I'm very uninterested in those atm. Thanks for the advice mate but I think I'll pass until I've cleared out some of my backlog, hundred and something games I've never even launched or installed still. :(

Plus I just bought a 3570k and a Z77 so I'm pretty out of pocket. I'll probably actually need the £2.50 at some point. :p Thankfully the games literally always on sale so I'll pick it up one day. :)

Cheers again bud.

Yes please.
Read some of the reviews and when it was released very buggy(wonder if any have been fixed) and just lots of its nothing like sim city. But don't really say why or if its any good. Seems to get average reviews.

Ive just played for an hour and in my eyes its pants.
its buggy and not very user friendly,
the game is too complex in my eyes,

wonder when dragonborn dlc for skyrim will be out
4th dec on xbox, pc shouldnt be too far behind

wondering if i will leave the current expansions and get them all in one bundle later one

wow at dragon age ultimate for £5.99

I have dragon age origins and dragone age awakening already, spent so much time playing it and never completed awakening.

I guess it is old(ish) now tho

I gave in and purchased it. Absolute steal at that price considering how much fun and hours I put into it :)

-Fingers crossed- FTL with a discount and that should be my Autumn sale over.
