Very similar to Counter Strike Source, just improved graphics and Gun Mode mod now also included.

If you never played CSS or CS 1.6 then might find its passed its sell by date, also most who plays the game are very good as there have been playing it for years

pre-ordered CSGO hoping it would be amazing but just disappointing

Played lots of cs 1.5/1.6 years ago, wasn't as interested in css and then played some csgo during a weekend special. It's all the same to be honest, the price is tempting but going to give it a miss. Might have another go at global offensive next time they do a weekend special and if I do enjoy it then might buy it next time it's on sale, just for the nostalgia.

MW3 I wouldn't of mind purchasing but at £19.99 probably not quite worth while, specially after what happened with MW2 multi player takes forever to find a game

hmmm really not sure if to get the cs pack now never played them so not sure.

is it a kind of professional platform fps? is it fun? is it easy to get into or very very difficult?

Definitely, it worth it for the visuals alone and as far as RPG's go think Dragon Age Origins but with much better combat.
