Can anyone beat this spec for 1k?

Which 670? You could get a 7970 for an equivalent price of some of them(better oc in theory)

I'd also be inclined to have two 1tb drives in raid just on the off chance of drive failure.

Happy to see your not going windows 8:)

I have both win7 and win 8, i wont be buying win home prem i have prof lol, thats just in the bundle, so i dunno what 670 it is.

Ive priced this similar spec on OCUK and its over £1100, the above with no OS is only £940 so £160+ saving!

Also the case i will get the HAF X not that crappy zalman one lol.

Im saying the Zalman is a decent case however i never managed to get the built in fan controller to work, it was average for noise and the airflow and temps was average, the CM Stormtrooper on the other hand is 1000x better, better built, obviously larger as its full tower, better airflow, fan controllers worked, can turn the lights on and off etc and can point the fans in multiple directions not to mention the softouch finish is so nice, also a handle on top helps move it around although its bloody heavy lol

So basically im saying with regards to cases you often get what you paid for, my brother bought a Shinobi at the same time i bought my Zalman, almost the same price and the Shinobi was a much better case imo.

Zalman cases are decent though just theres a few better options, especially if you want to spend more money.
