I didn't say they just care about sales, but waiting for a new console that could be 2 years away would be a really stupid decision.

I agree, waiting for next gen is not a viable financial option but it seems clear rockstar want to recoup as much money as they can for this game

money talks my friends,they're good at what they do and us muppets with both consoles and gaming pcs will most likely give in and buy it on console at release then 6 months down the line get it on PC too.

Unfortunately this is true. I did the same when GTA IV came out on the PS3 and then the PC later on.

Remember shops dont know squat they just guess and offer pre-orders without knowing the facts. Only when publishers offer firm dates then you can trust a store if it matches what the pub says.

It will come to pc, it always has.

GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, GTA 4 where all released on the PS2/Xbox + PS3/360 console on release day with no mention of pc release dates. It usually gets announced 2-3 months after.

The trailers are looking promising, definitely want to play but wont be touching it with a barge pole on my PS3.

lol that petition is going to need more than 66k. They wouldnt bother, that is only going to generate 2.6m revenue for them, less fees.

it would take 100k to get anyone at R* to even bat an eyelid i would have thought.

It's honestly not needed. They will bring it to PC eventually, they'd be daft not to.

Though I'll be buying it on console at release and eventually on PC anyway.
