hi i have 3x lg w2243s and trying to set up on eyefinity i can get 2 monitors working but the 3rd only recognises as a generic non pnp monitor and i cant adjust the resolution to match the other 2. i have swopped ports etc round to no avail. any ideas

is it something to do with them being vga? would it work if i ran the third throught the hdmi slot with a converter instead of dvi! im going to be so upset if i cant get it to work with these monitors after buying 2 more :(

Managed to create a eyefinity group with the one monitor still not showing as a lg and as soon as I try to change the res in world of tanks it give me a blue screen

Without going into other problems I had with eyefinity, one of the issues was 1 of my monitors becoming a generic none pnp monitor, stuck at 640x480, the only way I could get rid of it, was powering down completely and discharging by turning off at the wall, after firing back up again it would be correctly setup again...

did you manage to get it to work as the said monitor in eyefinity or did it always do that fault?

they are all the same monitor, and just 1 causing a issue!

I did, it was an intermittent issue and I rarely see it now, I just wanted to point out that power cycling wasn't enough and I had to drain the thing to get it working, I got this off a Dell forum as I am using 3x 2412s.

Sounds like you are on your way to being sorted now anyway, glad you are getting there

This thread hurts my senses as a PC gamer

What spec is your system mate, namely what is your gcard? (sorry if you have said this)

Might point to a dodgy monitor.

ok got it all working dont no what the hell i did lol. all monitors running, my graphics card is a sapphire 7950 and a i5 2500k 16gb ram.

one of my monitors seems blurry compared to the others is there any way to adjust it to remove the slight blurr!

apart from that its all good. and how do people set up the screens to cope with the bezel?

does anyone no how to get the presets to work. i set them up but then when i try to activate one over the other it doesnt work.. trying to set it up as exstended monitors for normal use and eyfinity for gaming,

all working, im not a genius on computers just a avid gamer! but i got there in the end, big issue for conflicts was the fact that CCC recognised the displays in a diffrent order to windows so was messing things up. took ages to work out how to swop the monitors indentity in ccc, after i had pulled out and plugged in loads of times in diffrent orders lol!!

got my pre sets working also which is helpful when not gaming!

off to play some world of tanks in 5760x1080 :)

Have you set up the bezel compensation? It looks really weird without! Need the image to act like the bezel is in front of it. Will take a bit of trial and error to find the setting that looks right for you as it can depend on the angle the screens are to each other etc...
