Far Cry 3 Thread

Just for anyone else who bought direct from Ubisoft, I got an email a couple of hours ago with a link to the download manager and my serial number so no need to keep checking the Uplay app (which still shows nothing for me). I'm downloading at the moment, 8662.11MB in total and maxing out my connection, although in New Zealand that isn't too hard!

Haha same here! I was worried the emails wouldnt come till after release time so glad they are rolling out before so we can download over night

Thats not the best sign then, but im probably gunna play this via my tv with a controller anyway as i fancy a coach game, so as long as it still plays well ill do that other wise leep it upstairs on the monitor

Nowt in my mail yet but i think it unlocks earlier for you in NZ than it does over here.

Have you tried the key in Steam?

Tried in Steam and it didn't work so we're stuck with Ubisoft's installer I'm afraid.

I've uploaded the download manager here if you want to try it but obviously not 100% sure it'll be identical as I am in NZ (although 99% of the time we get the same version as UK/US).

So has anyone from the UK actually got their Ubisoft download email or is it just NZ etc? I haven't received one myself. Plus the section on ubishop where I track my order just says to open Uplay and it'll show there.

Cheers mate, got it installed and patched fine via that. Just gotta wait for the key tomorrow night to activate now :)
