Guardian are reporting today that Arsenal are going to add pay cut clauses into contracts should we not get into the champs league in future contracts.... well to be fair it doesn't say we don't have them, but its implied its something that will be going into newer contracts.

Something pretty much any team with a brain has been doing for some time now, promoted teams will have lowered wages after relegation, except teams that signed stupid contracts and got themselves into trouble like Pompie. We won't know for ages, if Arsenal miss out on 4th this year, which I'm actually not convinced will happen, what would happen to our finances, losing champs league income, but potentially most of the squad still being on the same wages won't go down very well.

Not exactly great for future negotiation either, trying to get people to sign new contracts, and basically take less money as there can't be many Arsenal players who are convinced 4th place is secure in the future.

Our crap players without better options will sign, where else will Gervinho and others get that kinda money, but the better players will have yet another reason to look to move on.

Mario Balotelli ‏@MarioUfficialeB

“@Jack_Munton: I wonder if @MarioUfficialeB will realize he's the joke of football now he's on twitter.” Ok and you are the joke of haircuts

That isn't Balotelli.

Those pictures have just been taken from his Facebook account and reuploaded one after another.

It will be shut down soon ie Monday like all the others are when they say they are the official ones etc.

:D

Why are Spurs fans so mad about all this?! Omg he's with his childhood sweetheart, and does charity work... he's better than Jebus.

Suarez is married to his childhood sweetheart, and does charity work . Rooney's married to his childhood sweetheart, and does charity work .

Does that mean they can't be rightly criticised for cheating/cheating on their partners with prostitutes/etc? No.

.......nice one, moses.

Not taking anything away from Messi and he's without doubt one of the best players I've ever seen but I believe he's played about 20 more games than Mueller did to get that many goals, it's still phenomenal though :)

The quality of players he is scoring against is incredible also.

I know a lot of La Liga isn't fantastic but they were certainly fitter, stronger and faster than the teams Mueller played against?

Quite probably but that works both ways, Mueller wouldn't have been as fit or had the technical benefits that players have nowadays :)

My sources say Messi has played 6 more games while Muller was able to bulk his tally fairly significantly when he scored 12 goals in 5 games of a one-off pre-season tournament. I'd call it even! :D
