It's a photo sharing app, so it's pretty blooming obvious that you would select what you wanted to share.

Geez, it's no wonder Microsoft invented wizards.

Uninstall it if you can't work out how to use it. It was *free*, didn't cost you anything.

Im pretty well up on all of this, but read the above instructions, its doesnt even mention about the fact the QR code is to be scanned within the app, I thought for a while it was a "lens App", that ran in the background.
When I say theirs NOTHING to tell you how it works, I do mean theirs NOTHING.
A sentence would have solved this and looking it seems im not the only one.
Its more stupid to assume people know exactly how to use it.

+1 for that.

A great app, let down (slightly) by usability for first time users. I'm sure it'll get an update to just tie up that loose end.

Bought :D no hassle getting the deal for £409.99 in Glasgow today on Orange with the headphones and the wireless charger.

Just gonna have to stick my One XL on EBay and hope to pull in around £300 (with 2 cases+ in-ear beats) and ill be happy indeed!

Showed the lads in the office photobeamer today and the all had the same reaction :p

But we are all just a bunch of gadget geeks!

After playing with the phone for a few days and having mixed results with battery life I'm almost convinced now that extreme battery drain is the result of bad programming in some of the third party apps.

The Facebook app seems to be bad. Even with Background blocked I was still losing 1% battery every 10 mins after using it.

Since I uninstalled the app this has stopped.

I think it's safe to assume there are others at fault during this early stage too.

Yeah i think you're right, the battery fell off a cliff through the night and that was in flight mode?! I've just uninstalled Facebook. I know some have uninstalled whatsapp as well due to the problems they were having but I've used it and it's been ok, did any of you guys that uninstalled it notice any better battery life?

Is there a problem with XBox Music on Windows Phone 8?

Syncing my music was possible however decided I didn't have the media usage rights despite the fact my phone is added to my subscription...having to download each song seperately...however even worse still is the fat it's downloaded x amount it will no longer download and simply crashes.

Not a great first experience :(

Although after a few reboots it seems to be downloading over the wifi again, no other way to obtain the usage rights.

Hopefully after a few updates it will be sorted out.

Anyone tried making these yet? http://cinemagraphs.com/

Friend with Nokia was making these today....Nokia camera plug-in I think. Very cool!

Just one of my Harddrive running.

Anyway, seems I'm alone on this. Must just be me :p

On the mac software at least you can simply drag MP3s that you want to be ringtones over add them pretty simply, so I have full MP3s as my ringtone and alarm with minimal messing about. I seem to remember the Iphone needing a similar thing doing from within itunes.

EDIT: Also has anyone worked out how Nokia Music works then? There was a lot of talk about free unlimited downloads for a year with the phone, but I'm not sure if that was Nokia or Xbox. Nokia seem to have free 'mix' downloads, but there is no pin card (http://music.ovi.com/gb/en/pc/help/comeswithmusicoverview/#activatehead) with the phone - does anyone know what the situation is?

You go to Mix Radio, choose something or create your own mix by entering three bands you like.

Once there's a tile for the mix you've created you either stream it or click and hold the tile and select something like "Make available offline", so it is stored on the phone (best doing this on Wifi if you have limited data).

It is effectively "radio" so to comply with radio laws you can only skip so many tracks in an hour.
