400mm 2.8?!? Lol I'd like to see that.
I still got an itch for the 50L. Think i'll sell my 85/1.8 and 50/1.4 to pay for it.
(do they even make one?)Yeah will look comical next to my other lens. Will take loads of pictures including unboxing. The box it comes in is massive. The front element is just insane too, 183mm in diameter!

great cameras ,fuji win hands down on design this time round ,there hard to put downNew toy (camera number... 5!):

Waiting for my ever ready case and Friday to roll around and I'll hopefully get some photos out of this bad boy![]()
jesus ,how much are the filters for that![]()
cheers mateCheap as they go on the back or towards the back (internal drop in filters) on lenses with massive front element diameters.

You getting a filter for it?(do they even make one?)
I know about the box, it is basically a Canon peli case for the lens....drool..............you can buy those i believe but they are a few hundred pounds, the hoods too are very expensive!
Hmmm just ordered myself a Gitzo GT2531EX tripod. Couldn't resist the price of £380! Now to track down a decent ball head for it!

Thanks York, I wasn't being funny I was genuinely curious as of yet I've not really had issues I couldn't quickly cover with my tripod where as the head is a different matter
Anyway my 100mm L macro has just turned up. Won't bother posting another picture as we have seen quite a few recently![]()
. But I've used too many crap tripods in the past, so for my first own proper tripod (fed up of borrowing other peoples!) decided that I'd spend a bit more and hopefully not get an upgrade itch a few years down the line!
