How do you exactly what is being alleged?

I'm genuinely starting to think your know the guy because you keep making unsubstantiated claims not based in any media report I've read. He has been charged with 'indecent assault' which can mean anything from inappropriate touching to forcing someone to masturbate in front of you or receiving fellatio.

And lest we forget one of the alleged victims was just 9 years old.

How do you know the allegations only refer to minor touching (which I assume is your thinking)? Or do you genuinely believe that only full on penetration should be a crime?

Hang on, I thought the Dave Lee Travis and the Stuart Hall allegations were from people who were grown WOMEN in their early 20's at the time.

Certainly didn't see ANY mention of children. That was just Jimmy the Fixit Fiddler surely?

The girls in question (re: Hall) were 8, 13 and 17 at the time.

I find it helps if you actually read the story before posting knee jerk "it's a fix" comments as you've been doing.

Having said that, I did not really have any idea that people were talking about children, I naturally assumed amongst all the silly overblown hysterics, that it was much the same as the Lord McAlpine and Dave Lee Travis situation.

No evidence, just silly rumours. I never believe any of the utter garbage spouted in the tabloids. I would be willing to bet NOTHING happens, and all the stuff you have believed in the papers turns out to be a lot of complete tosh.

That could very well be the case, however we won't know that yet. I'm just stating my opinion on the fact that there is now this massive influx of paedos walking around all of a sudden since the Saville case.

I can understand them not coming forward at the time due to their age, but if it is the case that it isn't the police that have done the approaching then waiting 30 years is a bit ridiculous IMO.

The can't even get the age of the girls right!!

Doesnt sound like any of this has a single leg to stand on. If he admitted it, fair enough, hes a dirty scumbag.... but if this is the summation of the charges against him, its almost comedic how poor this policing is. A complete waste of Taxpayers money if it turns out they charged him based on almost thin air.

If you are going to prosecute for this, you need TIMES, DATES, EVENTS, PLACES, everything pertaining to what the hell actually happened. The utter vaguery is looking a bit embarrassing for the police now.
