Far Cry 3 Thread

Are people trying any creative ways of taking bases?

I'm a stealth lover, so I will spend a long time working out how I can eliminate everyone without anyone being aware, then taking them out one by one.

However, having done quite a few now I'm starting to get creative. My new favourite is to 'takedown' someone that's somewhat in the open, leave an explosive present by the body, then when some of the dudes run over to see whats going on......KABOOOOM. Very pleasing :D

Disable the alarm first though......obviously.

Hey guys trying to play this.. the intro music/voices works with no issues at all as soon it starts when your tied and and vaas is talking I hear nothing at all, I can hear backround sounds and everything else fine. I have a xonar dg and set to headphones aswell as windows to 2.0 as I heard this could be the issue and its still happening

IT IS ON STEAM IN THE UK.

Second page of new releases.

Don't know what the lack of fanfare is about...

OK, LAST TIME I CHECKED, IT WASN'T. AND IT WAS AVAILABLE OUTSIDE THE UK STEAM STORE.

THANKS FOR THE CAPS, I HAVE CERTAINLY MISSED THE TWO PREVIOUS POSTS POINTING OUT THAT I WAS WRONG.

FANFARE FANFARE FANFARE

I think it's a great game, got as far as the 2 girls meeting up in the cave!

Only thing I'm not keen on is all this messing about making bigger bags and collecting silly stuff!

Re buying on Steam. Why buy on Steam when you can get it £2 cheaper in your high street store?
Steam is great especially for picking up games in sales but I personally wouldn't pay more than the same game on DVD, well, not at near £30 anyway.

Just finished the main storyline, loved it! :)

First game since batman arkham city that has kept me glued for hours to the screen without taking a break :p :o

Had to use guns near the end and they felt great to use, really liked the P416 and SPAS 12.

why ? because Stream games are very convenient to download, plus they have all the latest patches.

where the hell am i going to get FAR CRY 3 from, because where i live PC games arent sold anymore, the closest place is Christchurch/ Southampton

and when i do travel miles to get this game, i still have to find the latest patches online, plus register it..... no way man this is crazy, the only place is Steam

Patches auto download, you can however choose whether to install them
What's wrong with buying it online ?
