Edited out, was very excited I have to admit, and the pain of having to wait up to a few weeks for it.

Waste of money to you maybe, just as some interests people have spend a fair amount on are a "waste of money" to me.

I'm much not into cars/motorbikes or other hobbies others may have, clothes and such, we don't go out loads, so can save up a good amount per month.

Lens may generate some money back as well for me as already been offered to do some work for my partner's running club who run large events if I so wanted.

There are people across the forum who spend loads on expensive cars, PC hardware regulary etc!
